The highest tree-top trail in Europe is situated at the end of the Saalbach- Hinterglemm valley. It is a unique project, combining the trail with an alpine „Golden Gate“ suspension bridge.
This natural circular tour starts at the parking area at the end of the valley and runs for a length of 2 kms over meadows, mountain fields and through the forest. The one kilometre tree-top trail starts at the Lindlingalm and includes the 200 m – long „Alpine Golden Gate Bridge“. In summer it is possible to use the small valley train to get there and back (around 4 km). In winter it is a good walk in a wonderful winterland, or alternatively a pretty drive in a horse-drawn sleigh.
